Kassian scores game-winner as Peterborough edges Belleville 3-2

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Zach Kassian scored midway through the third period to give the Peterborough Petes a 3-2 victory over the Belleville Bulls in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

Kassian - selected 13th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2009 NHL entry draft - also assisted on Brett Theberge's power-play goal late in the first period. Jack Walchessen had the other goal for Peterborough (2-0-0).

Luke Judson had a goal and an assist and Stephen Johnston also scored for the Bulls (0-1-0).

Jason Missiaen made 24 saves for the Petes, while Belleville netminder Philipp Grubauer stopped 34 shots.
